EQUITY DIVERSITY & INCLUSION (EDI) WORKSHOPS
Times they are a changing. We are living in a time of increasing diversity. More and more cultural competency is becoming a necessity across all facets of our lives. Having experience or knowledge around culturally-specific communities and the institutionalized barriers limiting their access to fair and equitable outcomes is rapidly becoming a job qualification.
Cultural competency and cultural humility are just a few of the skills that can help dismantle oppression and bias in the workplace. Trainings support building skills for engaging in courageous conversations, addressing microaggressions and interrupting bias. Learning in a workshop environment allows an individual or team to establish shared knowledge and terminology.
Got Bias?
A practical workshop on developing your ability to recognize and interrupt implicit bias. In this workshop participants will learn how to mitigate the impacts of implicit bias personally and professionally, through dialogue, an interactive exercise and personal reflection.
Pathway to Richer Relationships
You’ll learn tools & techniques for interrupting bias in yourself and the workplace. We will cover new language, terminology, microaggressions, and “well-meaning” mistakes around race. This workshop is intended to provide a deeper context to understanding how mitigating bias can be implemented within organizations to support EDI initiatives.
