GRANTS WORKSHOPS

While funders like to believe that their grants are very accessible to the average person, what anyone who has ever tried to get a grant understands is they are a tremendous amount of work and engage a unique form of communication. There is a language and tone to successful grants and that language and tone is not always natural for many artists or first time grant writers. Grants ask you specific questions that tie your content to your process to your timeline to your budget. Very few artists work this way. My workshops are intended to de-mystify grant speak and to help artists develop a grant strategy and process that works for them and their practice. These workshops are a critical first building block for folks who have never been successful at writing grants.
